The formidable finale of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises, is grappling ever closer (20.07.2012). In fact, the release is so close; some say they can feel an impending sense of grim damnation sinking deep into their souls. Others report an overwhelming desire to take to the mean streets of Britain and seek tragic revenge against all those who challenge morality. One person even confessed to pangs of excitement.
With lovely Anne Hathaway snatching the most anticipated role in Hollywood, dauntless Catwoman accompanies French fancy Marion Cotillard as Bruce Wayne’s new flame. Christian Bale reprises his role as Batman for the third and final time, whilst we all openly anticipate the loss of the late, great Heath Ledger. His masterful rendition of the clown king of crime, the Joker, in 2008’s Dark Knight was the stuff of real life nightmares and comic book dreams. Fortunately though, Hans Zimmer is flying solo this time round as he takes to the composition helm. From what the trailer gives away, the film-score comprises some seriously stirring music.
All in all, it’s set to blow our minds.
In celebration of this historic release, the guys over at Music Room, the music scores specialists, have provided the COMPLETE and up-to-date collection of all of the Batman movies and you, yes you, can win it. This includes:
- Batman (1989) – Tim Burton
- Batman Returns (1992) – Tim Burton
- Batman Forever (1995) – Joel Schumacher
- Batman and Robin (1997) – Joel Schumacher
- Batman Begins (2005) – Christopher Nolan
- Dark Knight (2008) – Christopher Nolan
Of course, we understand if you want to get as far away from the Schumacher movies as possible, but you can put them on ice or freeze them in hell, whichever you prefer. After all, if a collection’s worth having, you might as well have it complete (but try telling a Star Wars fan that, I know).
