What Did You Think of Inception?

StumbleUponRedditPinterestShare

Well folks, it’s finally here and open to the public. Christopher Nolan’s latest movie, Inception has been anticipated to be one of the biggest and best movies of the year so far but did it live up to your expectations?

Jon saw the movie a couple of weeks ago and you can read his review here. We also have itnerviews with director Christopher Nolan and the cast including, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen Page and Joseph Gordon Levitt, Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy and Ken Watanabe plus footage from the press conference which was held before the world premiere of the movie in London’s Leicester Square last week.

I got to see the movie today at it blew my little mind. It was everything I wanted it to be and more. If you’re not sure what to go and watch this weekend, I highly recommend seeing this one.

BUT, if you’ve already seen it, tell us what you thought in the comments section below. Did you love it? Did you hate it? Tell us all!

Loved it. Totally immersed me for the full 2 and a half hours. Performances were first rate, although I thought Marion Cotillard got lost a little. Chris Nolan is definitely one of the best directors working in America. Not as complicated or as confusing as I was lead to believe though, as long as you go in with an open mind, it should all make sense, to an extent…

Just came back from Leicester Square and put together my first impressions here: http://michuk.filmaster.com/review/is-nolan-the… (with some pictures – I haven't seen such crowds around any cinema since Avatar!)

It was what I expected. Great cinematography, music, acting. Not so great plot, but at least an original story. I wish it was more engaging. The ending however, was exactly as it should. 7/10

AMAZING!!! It was seriously gripping stuff. A very long film but I never found myself getting bored…it was so exciting. I agree with Jamie Neish, It's not as confusing as we were lead to believe. I thought we'd have a real battle to follow the plot but that really wasn't the case. It's clever but not confusing and it's a visual treat. It has a fantastic ending as well. Leo and his supporting cast were incredible..some great British actors in this film. Any movie that leaves me thinking about it for the rest of the day has done something right!

Absolutely incredible; just when summer 2010 was shaping up to be a complete non-event Christopher Nolan comes along with a film so original, so enigmatic, action packed and thought provoking, that it blows months of adaptations, sequels and remakes straight out of the water. THE summer blockbuster of the year, Inception is a toilet break's worst nightmare.

Just saw it in Los Angeles. Thought it was brilliant on every level. Think I have to go see it again!!

Great comments! Can't wait to see it myself! Saw Ellen Page on Jay Leno tonight–don't really care for him, but man, she is SOOOO intelligent and whippet-smart! Loved her in Juno, and so glad to see that her talent was not a one-note wonder. Leonardo, as always, looks as though he is delivering, and Levitt is getting his chance at the big times–GREAT for him! About time! He is very talented! Can't wait to see how this film fares at the Academy Awards!

Did you Know that Tom Hardy's Character, Earmes (The British guy) was a forger.
In the Dream world he was able to not shape shift but take the identity of people
He was Fischer's godfather in the Dream in order to make him think that his godfather was against him and he was that blonde girl that Fischer was talking to as well.
Eevntually he ends up being the only standing character defending the Snowy Level.
Can anyone please explain to me how Adriane and Cobb made it to the fourth level, it must have happened in a blink of an eye when i was eating my SWEET popcorn.
