Warm-Bodies-PosterWe’ve got just a few short weeks before Jonathan Levine’s Warm Bodies hits the big screen, and the anticipation has been deservedly rising in recent weeks for the upcoming zombie movie, seeking to inject a little life into the genre.

We saw the first US TV spot land earlier in the month, and with its UK release date fast approaching too, eOne have released the first TV spot for our shores.

“Who says romance is dead?

Life for Julie (Teresa Palmer) and R (Nicholas Hoult) couldn’t be more different.

R is a zombie; with a great record collection; limited vocab and an overpowering love of brain food. Julie is a human; beautiful; strong; open minded and all heart.

When R makes an unexpected decision and rescues Julie from a zombie attack, his lifeless existence begins to have a purpose. As the unlikely relationship develops, R’s choice to protect her sets in motion a sequence of events that might just change both of their worlds forever.”

Rising young stars Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: First Class) and Teresa Palmer (Wish You Were Here) look to be excellent in the leads as Warm Bodies’ R and Julie, with great support coming from the awesome Analeigh Tipton (Crazy, Stupid, Love.), Dave Franco (21 Jump Street), Rob Corddry (Children’s Hospital), and John Malkovich (Being John Malkovich).

Levine (50/50, The Wackness) is directing from his own script, adapting the original novel, Warm Bodies, by Isaac Marion. I’m a really big fan of Levine’s work to date, and can’t wait to see him to get back behind the camera here for his fourth feature.

Warm Bodies will be hitting the US on 1st February, with its release coming just a little later in the UK on 8th February. Whilst we wait, here’s the latest TV spot to get you excited.
