Warm-Bodies-Propaganda-Poster-Be-The-CureJonathan Levine’s Warm Bodies arrives in US theatres this weekend, and all we’ve seen so far suggests it’s going to be a brilliant new entry into the zombie genre. And that it’s going to inject more than a little life, giving a different take to well-trodden territory.

Last week brought with it a great new interactive infographic and a new TV spot, giving us another good look at the film. And now we have four new ‘propaganda’ posters to share, supporting zombie rights and zombie power. Zombies need love, too, y’know.

“Who says romance is dead?

Life for Julie (Teresa Palmer) and R (Nicholas Hoult) couldn’t be more different.

R is a zombie; with a great record collection; limited vocab and an overpowering love of brain food. Julie is a human; beautiful; strong; open minded and all heart.

When R makes an unexpected decision and rescues Julie from a zombie attack, his lifeless existence begins to have a purpose. As the unlikely relationship develops, R’s choice to protect her sets in motion a sequence of events that might just change both of their worlds forever.”

Rising young stars Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: First Class) and Teresa Palmer (Wish You Were Here) look to be excellent in the leads as Warm Bodies’ R and Julie. Joining them is a fine support cast, headed up by the awesome Analeigh Tipton (Crazy, Stupid, Love.), Dave Franco (21 Jump Street), Rob Corddry (Children’s Hospital), and John Malkovich (Being John Malkovich).

Levine is directing from his own script, adapting the original novel by Isaac Marion of the same name. Levine has been very much one-to-watch in recent years, making a big name for himself back in 2011 with 50/50. His follow-up here looks set to be another big success.

Warm Bodies will be released in the US this Friday, 1st February, with its UK release date set for 8th February. For now, here’s the new set of posters, which you can click through to enlarge.
