Transformers-4-BumblebeeFollowing the highly successful release of Pain and Gain this spring, MichaelBay has returned to the fold for Paramount to bring us the as-yet-untitled Transformers 4.

The blockbuster is naturally all but guaranteed a top spot as one of the biggest films of next summer – and, I’m predicting, one of the highest-grossing films of all time.

With principal photography getting underway across the Atlantic, Bay shared a handful of first look images, showing off the revamped look of Optimus Prime and two new Autobot vehicles.

And now Bay has released through his site an awesome first look at the revamped Bumblee, as a ‘highly modified, vintage 1967 Camero SS’.

The plot details for the sequel are naturally being kept under wraps, but we do know that it will be taking place eight years after the events of Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

Mark Wahlberg was the first to come on board, and he’s joined by a great cast, led by Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Kelsey Grammer, Stanley Tucci, Sophia Myles, Li Bingbing, and T.J. Miller.

Bay will be directing from a script penned by Ehren Kruger (Transformers: Dark of the Moon), with the two developing the project together since Bay came back on board.

Transformers 4 is set to hit cinemas on June 27th, 2014. And I’m predicting (and you can quote me on this one) that it will be one of a very small number of films next year to gross that elusive $1bn. figure. As always, let us know what you think of Bumblebee’s new look in the comments below.
