We’ve gathered ten of the performances in films due out in 2013 which may provide something special or surprising. Some are old faces trying something new, others are young actors breaking out by aligning themselves with classic characters or working with acclaimed directors.

    Some very good choices! Really, really looking forward to Elizabeth Olsen in Kill Your Darlings and Chiwetel Ejiofor in Twelve Years a Slave as well.
    Far too few people give Ejiofor the credit he deserves, and hopefully this will help change that.
