After catching two great character posters earlier in the week for the hugely anticipated The Lego Movie, Warner Bros. has added a third to the line-up, all following nicely on from the latest trailer that landed at the end of last month.

This time around, Batman is making a menacing appearance, and with the ever-brilliant Will Arnett lending his voice as the Dark Knight, you can’t help but get excited.

The original 3D computer animated story follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.

Chris Pratt lends his voice in the lead as Emmet, the ordinary LEGO minifigure whose life takes a huge turn through the course of the movie. And Pratt is joined by a stellar voice cast, led by Arnett, Elizabeth Banks, Will Ferrell, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Alison Brie, and Nick Offerman.

Phil Lord and Chris Miller (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, 21 Jump Street) are at the helm with a script they co-wrote, based on a story they wrote with Dan and Kevin Hageman (Hotel Transylvania).

The Lego Movie will be released in 3D on February 7th, 2014 in the US, with its UK release date set for the following weekend on 14th February, giving you the perfect alternative over the Valentine’s weekend.
