Arriving on the big screen in just a matter of weeks, The Last Exorcism Part II will be picking up where the #1 horror left off back in 2010.
Produced by the king of horror himself, Eli Roth (Hostel, Aftershock), we saw the latest trailer arrive a few weeks back, giving us a good look at the horrors coming our way. And now we’ve had the UK quad poster sent our way, which we can look forward to seeing go up on buses and across the Underground in the next few weeks.
“In the continuing story, Nell Sweetzer is found terrified and alone in rural Louisiana. When she returns to the relative safety of New Orleans, Nell finds that she can’t remember large portions of the previous months, but she does know that she is the last surviving member of her family. As Nell begins the difficult process of starting a new life, the evil force that once possessed her comes back with terrible new plans for her, meaning that her last exorcism was just the beginning.”
Ashley Bell reprises her role as Nell from the original film, and this time around will be starring alongside Spencer Treat Clark (Much Ado About Nothing), Julia Garner (Martha Marcy May Marlene), and Muse Watson (Prison Break).
Ed Gass-Donnelly (Small Town Murder Songs) is taking over the helm in place of Daniel Stamm, directing from a script he co-wrote with Damien Chazelle (Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench).
And producing alongside the ever-brilliant Roth is Marc Abraham (Dawn of the Dead), Thomas A. Bliss (In Time), and Eric Newman (Children of Men).
The Last Exorcism Part II will be released in the US on 1st March, and is set for release in the UK a little later on 15th March. For now, here’s the new UK quad poster, along with the UK trailer variant to give you a reminder of what to expect. Enjoy.
