The-Hunger-Games-Catching-Fire-Capitol-Couture-Character-Poster-Jennifer-LawrenceThe Hunger Games: Catching Fire has been gearing up its campaign for its November release very nicely this week, launching a new series of ‘Capitol Couture’ poster / portraits, following the two ‘Victory Tour’ posters that landed late last month.

Francis Lawrence (I Am Legend) takes to the helm for the sequel, with the original cast returning alongside a host of new faces.

So far, we’ve seen these new posters for Elizabeth Banks and Stanley Tucci, and now three more have been released for Jennifer Lawrence (via Parallel Universe), Woody Harrelson (via IGN), and Lenny Kravitz (via People).

“THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.”

Lawrence is of course reprising her leading role as Katniss Everdeen. And she’s joined by another fantastic ensemble, led by Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, Banks, Jena Malone, Tucci, Harrelson, Kravitz, Jeffrey Wright, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Willow Shields, and Donald Sutherland.

Francis Lawrence is directing from a screenplay first written by the Oscar-winning Simon Beaufoy (Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours), with Michael Arndt (Toy Story 3, Star Wars Episode VII) hired for a rewrite, adapting the original novel by Suzanne Collins.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will be released on 22nd November in the UK and US, and you can be sure that that’s a release date you’ll want to commit to memory. For now, here are the latest three posters in the series, which you can click through to enlarge. And be sure to check back for more later as they land.
