Following on from the huge success of The King’s Speech, we’re soon to be treated to another depiction of both King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, yet this time by duo Samuel West and Olivia Colman, respectively, as Roger Michell’s Hyde Park on Hudson delves into the true story when the royals spent the weekend with American president Franklin D. Roosevelt (Bill Murray).
The pair – both famed as much for their television work as for their film appearances – discuss their own personal approach when playing members of the royal family, and how they refused to watch The King’s Speech until after shooting their movie – and finally West discusses his thoughts on this years BAFTA’s.
