Shailene Woodley reunites with her The Spectacular Now writers, Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber, for the project, giving still more reasons to look forward to its arrival.

Following the first poster at the end of last year, EW has debuted a first photo from the film, teasing a look at Woodley and co-star Ansel Elgort sharing a moment in Anne Frank’s house.

Courtesy of Amazon, here’s the synopsis for the original novel.

Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten.

Insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw, The Fault in Our Stars is award-winning author John Green’s most ambitious and heartbreaking work yet, brilliantly exploring the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.

Woodley and Elgort top a stellar ensemble, starring alongside Willem Dafoe, Laura Dern, Nat Wolff, Lotte Verbeek, Sam Trammell, Emily Peachey, and Mike Birbiglia.

Josh Boone (Stuck in Love) makes his sophomore feature at the helm, with Neustadter and Weber co-writing the adaptation’s script.

The Fault in Our Stars will be released in the US on June 6th, before arriving in the UK two weeks later on 20th June.
