Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises brought to an end his and brother Jonathan Nolan’s epic Batman trilogy this summer, soaring past the billion-dollar mark at the box office.
Warner Bros. now have their eye on the Oscars, launching their awards campaign for the film, but before all that kicks off properly, we can look forward to its arrival on DVD and Blu-ray next month, packed full of special features.
We saw a brilliant new set of behind-the-scenes stills of an epic fight scene between Batman and Bane, and now MSN have debuted a new featurette taking us behind the scenes of that immense and explosive scene where Bane enters the football stadium.
Christian Bale of course returns for his final outing as Batman, with Tom Hardy giving a remarkable performance as Bane, alongside one of the finest casts of the year, headed up by Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, and Marion Cotillard.
The Dark Knight Rises will be released on DVD, Blu-ray, and various special editions (including a highly anticipated Cowl edition) on 3rd December here in the UK, followed by 4th December in the US.
