Thanks-for-Sharing-PosterWith a fantastic cast led by Mark Ruffalo and Josh Gad, Thanks for Sharing is hands down one of the best movies you’ll see this year.

The film debuted out in Toronto last year to great early reviews – you can read our five-star review here – and is finally about to land in cinemas in just a few weeks’ time. The first trailer landed online earlier in the summer, and was more recently followed by a UK trailer cut from the same cloth. And now a new Australian trailer has been released, arriving soon after the Australian poster, featuring a wealth of new footage.

From Academy Award®-nominated screenwriter and first-time director Stuart Blumberg (THE KIDS ARE ALL RIGHT), THANKS FOR SHARING is a sharply comic and deeply moving look at a new kind of modern family, as a group of friends in recovery learns to face life together with heart, humor and humility.

Ruffalo and Gad are absolutely fantastic in the leads, and should certainly be considered contenders in the coming awards race – if not for the Academy Awards (only because the movie is undeservedly lacking the momentum/awareness so far for a push of that scale), then definitely for the Independent Spirit Awards.

The two star alongside Tim Robbins, Gwyneth Paltrow, Alecia ‘Pink’ Moore, Patrick Fugit, Joely Richardson, and Isiah Whitlock, Jr., all of whom make up a brilliant ensemble cast.

The Oscar-nominated Stuart Blumberg (The Kids Are All Right) makes his feature debut as a director, co-writing the script with Matt Winston, with Edward Norton serving as executive producer.

Thanks for Sharing will be released in the US on September 20th, and has recently had its UK release date pushed back a little to 4th October. In the meantime, here’s the great new trailer. Enjoy.
