Last night in the US, the DVD and Blu-ray went on sale for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and fans of the movie were given a sneak peak of a clip from the final movie which is released in November and sees the final chapter of the movie which stars Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson. This clip follows the news that the first trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 will hit before The Hunger Games when it’s released in March.

Both the shots of the clip below come from footage filmed on mobile phones or the like in-store but no doubt the clips will be officially released online in the coming days.

I hadn’t really thought about this before but now that Lionsgate own Summit Entertainment, that means they own both The Hunger Games and Twilight. News has just broken from Lionsgate that we will be getting the trailer for the final movie in the Twilight Saga which stars Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson will debut with The Hunger Games when it hits in March and I don’t know about you, but i can hardly contain my excitement!

No doubt the trailer will hit online before we see it at the cinema but this is exciting news for all those Twihards out there desperate to see what the final movie looks like.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 hits UK cinemas November 16th and is directed by Bill Condon.

Just as we’ll always associates Daniel Radcliffe with Harry Potter, we’ll be associating Kristen Stewart with her role as Bella Swan in the immensely popular Twilight franchise. The final movie, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 is released in November later this year but before we see it, we’ll have Universal Studios’ new movie, Snow White and the Huntsman. The marketing for the movie has been rather great and I am actually very much looking forward to seeing it.

French magazine, “One” or could it be “Un” interviewed Kristen about her role in the new movie and compared the two characters with one another telling us that both characters are like one another as they are ‘Women who take care of their family above all” but she goes onto talk about punching Chris Hemsworth who plays ‘The Huntsman’ in the movie and has recently played Thor. Read on for the more.

What do Bella Swan and Snow White have in common?

“Yes, and they have like a hundred common points. They’re both kind of matriarch. Women who take care of their family above all. I don’t see Snow White as the cartoon’s character who’s stuck in everyone’s head. When I was little, my parents didn’t read me fairytales, I don’t this culture. A lot of people tell me that they can’t wait to see the movie because it’s kind of a rereading of the myth, but it’s all new for me. I didn’t know what to expect when I was reading the script. It was the same for Twilight. I’d never heard any vampire stories.”

How did you find being this action fighting character?

“I don’t have the physical appearance of a fighter, but I identified myself to this young woman’s state of mind, who have huge compassion. Snow White is not capable of hating, but she has to find the strength to fight and this movie opened my eyes. We don’t need to hate our rival to fight him. Snow White is the last hope for the people, she has some kind of spiritual connection with the others. She deeply feels things and forgets to think about her to concentrate on others. When she has to kill, it breaks her heart and I’ve never seen any movie action where the heroine is torn to fight.”

How do you find being a role model to so many people?

“I’m not better than them and I don’t have any particular wisdom to share with them. I don’t like being put on a pedestal. Why is my opinion suddenly important? It doesn’t make sense! I haven’t changed. I’m exactly the same person that I was before Twilight and back then, no one was asking my opinion.”

Will we see you in the role as Snow White again?

“I don’t like to plan my future, but Snow White may turn into a trilogy. If the movie succeeds, we could do a next chapter and so I could be in another franchise. But I’d love to play Snow White again.”

What was it like when you hit Chris Hemsworth?

“It was like in a movie, I’d never hit someone and I realized that I really hit him hard. Me! It was really exciting to knock Thor out! It’s comforting to know that a little girl like me can beat someone as strong as Chris. you’ll see this take in the movie, the director kept it.”

It’s been quite a while since i wrote a post with new footage from The Saga Twilight Breaking Dawn: Part 1 but Yahoo have broken the drought with this new featurette taking us behind the scenes of the wedding scene which was talking about so much before the movie came out. We even had photos of the dress which was worth $35 000 and designed by Carolina Herrera. If you missed it, you can see it here.

Whilst the trailer looked to beat our cynicism into submission through the oddly suspicious tagline of “fall under the spell” I just couldn’t get on board with Tarsem Singh’s Mirror Mirror.

No matter how hard I try I can’t get excited about Panto anymore. It’s perfect for a bit of nostalgia and lovely when you’re a child at Christmas but now I’ve got all serious and boring I’m having none of it. But last time I checked I wasn’t a pre-pubescent girl so I guess that the film’s due a reappraisal.

Yes, 2012 sees not one but two whole adaptations of Snow White. But whilst Snow White and the Huntsman looks to involve a lot of stern Kristen Stewart facial expressions, Mirror Mirror looks like it’s going to smother us with big camp cuddles and luverly wuverly kisses. That, and attempt to gently nudge you into fits of light amusement.

A wicked enchantress (Roberts) schemes and scrambles for control of a spirited orphan’s (Collins) throne and the attention of a charming prince (Hammer). When Snow White’s beauty wins the heart of the prince that she desperately pursues, the Queen banishes her to the forest, where a ravening man-eating beast hungrily awaits. Rescued by a band of diminutive highway robbers, Snow White grows into an indomitable young woman determined to take back her realm from the treacherous Queen.

Now it’s got a new poster and the trend looks to be continuing:

Lily Collins as Snow White is looking at her most wholesome and Julia Roberts is still laying on the PG rated evil with a trowel, but all that is fine by me. Instead of another post-Twilight fairytale (think Red Riding Hood) it’ll be fun to have a bunch of talented people throwing caution and dignity to the wind (think Armie Hammer under the influence of puppy love in the trailer).

So it may not be fashionable but it doesn’t want to be. Broad comedy gets a bad rap sometimes but I’m sure a lot of children will be looking forward to the ‘Snow White Legend’ to come alive in a much more joyous sense than it’s Huntsman featuring counterpart. Hell, come March 16^th I might even regress 10 years or so and trot on down to the cinema for some wholesome inoffensive family fun.

Just to clarify, I won’t. But it all sounds very cosy doesn’t it.

Hanna’s teen assassin Saoirse Ronan is a busy actress at the moment. The 17-year-old is headlining both the adaptation of Twilight novelist Stephenie Meyer’s The Host and Neil Jordan’s trip back to vampiredom, Byzantium.

Variety is reporting that she’s also signed on to star in fantasy wartime drama, How I Live Now. She’ll play the lead yet again, this time in the role of a young American girl on holiday in the UK who is caught up in a terrorist attack during World War III and separated from her family, whom she struggles to be reunited with.

Based on the award-winning young adult novel by Meg Rosoff, Kevin MacDonald has signed on to direct, with Jeremy Brock (his co-scribe on The Last King of Scotland) and Terry Gilliam-regular Tony Grisoni providing the script.

Back in September, William Shatner himself weighed in on the age-old debate over Star Trek vs. Star Wars that has taken place for decades among fans of both franchises as to which is the superior, which is more worthy of their loyal devotion.

A brilliant new video has now surfaced, with thanks to Deadline for the heads up, in which George Takei, best known for his role as Sulu in Star Trek, tries to broker peace.

“Each is wonderful in its own special way… What’s needed today, now more than ever, is Star Peace, for there is an ominous, mutual threat to all science fiction…”

That threat?

“It’s called… Twilight. And it is really, really bad.”

Takei pokes fun at the younger franchise with the stereotypical complaints pitted against the film by anti-Twilighters, and calls for a mutual banding together of Star Trek and Star Wars fans against this new and dangerous threat, and says that he’s already calling in the big guns to lend a hand,

“To help us rid the world of this vampire menace.”

Brilliant. A great three minutes to brighten your afternoon.

In spite of not being a household name (yet), Anna Kendrick has notched up a diverse and interesting selection of roles in her relatively short career, including Scott Pilgrim’s sharp-witted and slightly scary sister, the very sweet and somewhat out of her depth Natalie in Up in the Air – for which she received an Oscar nomination, as well as putting in the only watchable performances in the entire Twilight saga.

She’s also a massive film fan, and for that reason alone we absolutely love her.

Anna was recently in town to promote 50/50, and we had the opportunity to speak to her about her experiences making the film, her first time as a romantic interest, and how to talk about Twilight without actually talking about Twilight.

On becoming involved with 50/50
I read the script mid-2009, and didn’t hear anything about it I met with Nathan Kahane from Mandate about it, but it was sort of about other things, and you never want to say, ‘I really want to do that movie’. You want to act super cool. Then, out of nowhere, at Christmas they offer it to me and I was really excited. I thought it had disappeared, and then it came back. I was very excited.

Now Seth and Will and Jonathon say, ‘we had her in mind the whole time’, but you never know about that stuff. It wasn’t written for me, no. It’s funny, because I wonder to what degree they were expecting me to do the same performance I did in Up In The Air. At a certain point I felt like that’s exactly what they wanted, and I felt bad because I felt like I was tricking them into offering me a part, and then planning to do something else, but everybody was happy with what I was doing.

On creating the character of Katherine
Somebody had told me, they were misinformed, but they told me that Katherine was based on a real character, and her dad was a therapist, and her heart wasn’t really in it, but she felt like she had to continue the family business, and I met with Jonathan after they’d offered me the part and said, ‘I can’t really reconcile that back story with what’s on the paper’, and he was like, ‘good news. She’s not a real person, so we can do whatever we want’. We tried to come much more from a place of a girl who cares so much, and is so excited to help people that she is sort of getting in her own way a lot – and that was much more exciting for me. So it didn’t feel like what was on paper was changing, but it felt like I was given permission to try something else.

On the reaction of real life psychologists
Yeah. I’ve been really nervous about that. A woman at the New York premiere came up to me and said, ‘I’m a psychologist’ and I was expecting a verbal lashing, but she was really cool about it. It’s a lot easier being the inexperienced and laughably bad psychologist, so I figured I could get away with a lot more. It’s a pretty condensed version of every mistake that a young psychologist could make. I met with this woman who had enough experience to say, ‘these are the mistakes I made’ and I tried to just channel all of that into one character.

On filming a story based on real experiences
It never felt like pressure, it felt like a relief. If we’d been making a comedy about cancer based on the ideas that popped out of somebody’s head, that would have been really terrifying. Having him as our writer, but then also having him on set all the time, he just kept us honest. There was never a moment where we felt like ‘oh my God, some cancer patient is going to see this, and we’re going to be crucified for it’, because we had a friend sitting in the same room to be our Sherpa.

On Seth Rogen playing a character based on himself
It’s hard, because Seth is so insensitive in the film, and I don’t find him to be an insensitive person at all. He’s smart enough to know when a joke is inappropriate and reaches that line, but from what I’ve seen, doesn’t step over it. So I do think that it’s an extreme version of the immature Seth that he may have been at 23, but he’s been nothing but really open in my experience, and I feel that he, actually is definitely, along with Will is one of the people that who had this kind of infallible ‘bullshit barometer’ on set, where if something didn’t feel honest, he would be the first one to point it out. So it doesn’t feel to me that he was the guy with the schtick, which I think maybe Kyle [Rogen’s character] has more of a schtick. He’s more open I guess, I don’t know.

How Seth and Will ensured the film was authentic
The only thing that I can think of is this moment where I go to see Joe in the hospital, and we’re about to start shooting, and Joe popped his eyes open and said, ‘Get Will in here! Get Will in here! Will, what’s morphine like?’ and Will had to give this detailed description of what it feels like to be on morphine. That was a fun day.

On her playing a romantic role
My first actually. Which I didn’t realise until we started shooting some of the flirtatious scenes, and particularly the final scene. I was so exhausted and I couldn’t figure out why, it seemed like, these kind of things are really simple, and I mentioned that to Joe, ‘I just realised that this was my first romantic role’. I always play weirdos, so I’ve never had a love interest, and it was great to hear from him, ‘it’s OK. It is a lot harder than it looks’, so it’s not like I’m just sucking. It was difficult to stay charmed for twelve hours, for both of us, I’m sure.

Our first scene together was the scene where I drop [Joseph Gordon Levitt] off at his house, and I give him my number, and we had met twenty minutes prior to shooting that scene, and that’s a testament to Joe. To keep that going, I don’t know if that got easier or harder, because there’s a sense of discovery at first, and once you’re friends, and you’ve said the same thing to each other fifty times, it’s hard not to just start faking it. It’s hard to keep that sense of discovery. But I’m really glad to have him as my first romantic interest, because as he pointed out, it’s a lot harder if you don’t get along.

On the difference between major roles in smaller films and small roles in blockbusters
I like sets that feel small. Sets that feel really big are really difficult. When you’re on a big set it feels like there’s constant miscommunication, so the thing that gets you through it is being surrounded by cool people, so I’ve been lucky so far, but I can see why people don’t necessarily have fun on big movies like that. But this kind of thing is really rewarding, and some of that can get lost on a big movie. I adored everything about Scott Pilgrim and making Scott Pilgrim, but there’s a lot of time between takes, and the pressure builds, and you do your one little part in this big movie, and sort of obsess about it for a really long time because it was all this build-up for a really quick thing. So sets like this, you’re able to relax a bit more. Although I think Jonathan was a big part of that. He makes it feel like you’re hanging out, and then occasionally, ‘oh I guess we should go make this movie, and then we can go to hanging out again’.

On Twlight
It dominates interviews, because people want to hit whore, as it goes. Is that a thing, hit whoring? So I guess I try to keep my comments boring and minimal, because otherwise it seems like I gave an interview about Twilight. But I know people have to ask about it, because otherwise they get in trouble, so I get it. But it’s tricky to be honest, but also be aware that you don’t want it to dominate everything you try to talk about.

Actors drawing in an audience
My feeling is always, people go to movies based on what the movie’s going to be. If they happen to see that they don’t recognise a single actor in it, they’re less likely to go because it must be a secretly bad movie or something, but I don’t know that many people that go based on actors. There doesn’t seem to be that following for anybody that people had for Cary Grant, so I don’t know that actors are doing that at all anymore. So I guess you just hope to be in movies that people seem based on the movie. I certainly don’t think that I have to worry about that sort of thing. That would be a nightmare.

Convincing people to see a film about cancer
Well, it’s tricky. Comedy about cancer, it’s tricky, but I think knowing that it’s a true story, and I think, especially the thing of seeing Seth, essentially playing Seth is fascinating to me. That’s why I would want to see it. [The fact that] Seth was actually the best friend to this guy is bizarre. When has that happened before? I think a movie like this, a lot of it is word of mouth. I know plenty of people that say to my face, which always amazes me, ‘I was thinking about seeing it, but it’s going to be such a downer because it’s a cancer movie’. I think it takes having a friend see it and say that it’s really good and it’s not a sappy cancer movie.

There may be a worldwide recession on but that hasn’t stopped fans of Twilight flocking to the cinema in their droves to see the fourth and penultimate movie based on the Stephanie Meyer book, Twilight Breaking Dawn: Part 1. Summit Entertainment have reported that they have now surpassed the $500m at the global box office in just 10 days and no doubt in the run-up to Christmas, the Twihards will be continuing to go back to see it again and again.

Late last week, we put up some high resolution images from Twilight Breaking Dawn Part One that showed some wedding images that we’ve not seen before. Today, Entertainment One have given us some super high-resolution images of the dress (created by Carolina Herrera) that Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) wore when she married Edward (Robert Pattinson) in the latest movie along with some rather nice facts about the dress. Turns out it’s worth $35 000!

These photos remind me of Kate and Will’s Royal Wedding earlier in the year and I have a feeling these will be just as popular! Twilight Breaking Dawn Part One is in UK cinemas NOW!

Seeing Bella’s wedding dress come to life in this installment of THE TWILIGHT SAGA was one of the more highly anticipated moments of the franchise.  Stephenie Meyer says, “My favorite designer, Carolina Herrera, did the wedding dress. I wanted the dress to be something special, not something that you’re going to see every day. I love what Carolina did with it, she came up with a stunning concept. It’s similar to what I envisioned, but with added elements.”

Here are some interesting facts about the wedding dress:

• Stephenie Meyer & Director, Bill Condon selected this design out of ten sketches that Ms. Herrera submitted.
•  The wedding dress is handmade and took Ms. Herrera and four seamstresses six months to complete
• The wedding dress was custom fit for Kristen Stewart.
• The dress is made out of crepe satin and French Chantilly lace152 buttons line the back of the dress and there are 17 buttons on each sleeve
•  Ms. Herrera designed the back of the dress to be a surprise, and she considers it very romantic.
• Ms Herrera plans to include the design in her 2012 collection and it will be available at her CHNY boutiques next year.
• The estimated value of Bella’s wedding dress is $35,000.
• The bridal dress company Alfred Angelo will be selling a replica of the dress in select stores retailing at $799.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn–Part 1 which stars Taylor Lautner, Kristen  Sterwart, Robert Pattinsion and is based on the books by Stephanie Meyer has opened over the weekend to a rather impressive opening weekend bringing in a MASSIVE $283.5m according to info from our friends at THR. In the US, the movie brought in $139.5m with the rest of the planet bringing in $144m. Although the US opening was smaller than New Moon (which brought in $142.8m), it’s still rather an impressive total for the movie which hasn’t done amazingly well in the review stakes (although our Laura gave it ****~ (4/5)!).

THR tell us that the movie also set two ‘key’ records becoming the fifth largest opening ever at the domestic (US) box office and the tenth largest worldwide opening ever! Nuts!

The movie opened on Friday to 54 different countries (one of which was the UK) and it seems that the Twihards across the globe have voted with their feet. Twihards forever!

THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING ‘RECORDS’ DAWN PART 1

BIGGEST UK OPENING FOR THE FRANCHISE SO FAR

UK and Irish distributor Entertainment One is pleased to announce that the fourth and penultimate film in The Twilight Saga, BREAKING DAWN PART 1 broke records this weekend as it recorded the biggest all time opening for an American film in the UK grossing £13.9 million.

BREAKING DAWN PART 1 has set the record with £6.35 million as the biggest non-3D opening Friday figure of all time, eclipsing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, which grossed £5.9 million.  Including 3D films, this Friday figure has charted as the 2nd highest ever.

The film has become the biggest 2D opening of 2011 beating the previous record set by The Inbetweeners Movie which took £13.2 million over 5 days.  BREAKING DAWN PART 1 has scored the biggest Twilight opening so far and the fifth biggest three day figure ever behind well established British franchises Harry Potter and James Bond.

Alex Hamilton, Director of Film, Entertainment One says: “We have the highest 3 day opening ever for an American Film in the UK. I’d like to thank all the fans of Twilight that have given this three year old independent distributor a weekend to remember.”

The Twilight Saga follows the story of the relationship between a mortal and a vampire, Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson). The final instalment will be released in cinemas on November 16th, 2012 by Entertainment One UK.

As you will be all too aware yesterday saw the UK premiere of Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 hit a very busy Westfield Shopping Centre in Stratford. We were of course down there getting the low down but before all the excitement and hype of the red carpet HeyUGuys met up with one of the films main stars, Taylor Lautner. We chatted to him about the pressure to live up to the fans expectations of the film, keeping his shirt on, holidaying in London and his next project – a film in which he’s starring and producing alongside Milk Director Gus Van Sant (not that he would give too much away about it). He also mentions that he’s very much looking forward to seeing The Hunger Games. I guess time will tell if that can do as well as Twilight has. We suspect it will!

Virgin Media TiVo creates Twilight discovery zone for customers

While down at the Breaking Dawn Part 1 premiere at Stratford Westfield this evening we caught up with two men who know probably more about the film than anyone else, director Bill Condon and producer of all five Twilight films, Wyck Godfrey. They took the time out to talk us through the challenges they faced transforming Stephanie Meyer’s books into Hollywood blockbusters, the moments they’re proudest of and what it was like to work with three of the best known actors around.

In the interview, Wyck talks about how they made the baby adding more jam and cream cheese while Bill Condon gives hope to all Twilight fans over the globe saying that this may The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 may not be the end of the Saga. Watch till the end for the info.

Tonight HeyUGuys and thousands of Twihards hit the red carpet at the UK premiere of Breaking Dawn Part 1. While down there we managed to catch up with the power three, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner as well as the latest member of the Twilight family and Kill List actress, MyAnna Buring. This evening, myself and the lovely Laura from Who’s Jack headed off into what we thought would be the warm for the UK Premiere of EOne Entertainment’s new movie, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1. Turns out it was outdoors but we didn’t let the cold get our spirits down and had a great evening! While we were waiting on the carpet to interview the big three, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart, I got a little snap happy taking pictures of all the other celebs that turned up (and in the end started snapping the a-listers too!).

The stars from The X-Factor including Misha B, Amelia were there along with Producer Wyck Godfrey, Director Bill Condon and Swedish actress, MyAnna Buring who you may have seen in Kill List recently were also walking the carpet and I papped them too, along with my friend Faith who was rather over excited.

Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) will finally vow to be together forever as they become husband and wife

In The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1, Bella is awkwardly adapting to life as Edward’s fiancée. As Alice, the Cullens and even Renee happily get swept up in preparations for the wedding of the century, the 18-year old Bella contemplates life as an immortal and the realisation of leaving behind her friends and family.

During an idyllic honeymoon, the happy couple finally succumb to passion but the unexpected happens as Bella discovers she’s carrying a baby and this pregnancy is accelerating fast. As Jacob instinctively protects his friend, his wolf pack divides and Jacob, Bella and Edward all have to make decisions that will change their lives forever whilst contending with a threat that could destroy their world.

As any Twilight fan will know Breaking Dawn, the last book in Stephenie Meyer’s ultra successful franchise, is where it all gets a bit more grown up. Gone are the days of poignant stares, teen melodrama and jealousy ridden love triangles and in is the serious stuff. The bits we’ve all been waiting for. Marriage. Sex. Teen pregnancy and a vampire/human hybrid that threatens the life of our leading lady.

After escaping death on more than one occasion she who doth not know how to crack a smile, Bella Swan (played by Kristen Stewart) is about to marry the love of her life, pouty vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson). They’ve been through a lot in their relatively short relationship and so it should come as no big surprise that in Breaking Dawn Part 1 things only get more complicated. The film opens, as all good films should, with Taylor Lautner’s character, Jacob running into the forest in a topless rage as he receives his invite to the biggest wedding of 2011 (sorry Kate and Wills). And there the story begins as the two soul mates preen and prepare themselves to declare their love for each other in front of their family, friends and vampire cousins.

As with all things Twilight the fans will have huge expectations of how these scenes should be done, no pressure there then for the film’s director Bill Condon. But I am happy to report they’re done well. Very well indeed. Billy Burke excels as Bella’s father Charlie who struggles through the fact his only daughter is getting married at the tender age of 18 to a boy he doesn’t entirely trust (and with good reason as he’s planning on turning his daughter in to a vampire) while the wedding speeches from various members of the party prove some light relief from the intensity of the wedding scenes.

Moving forward and the film finds itself in Rio as the newly weds make their way to their honeymoon destination, a remote desert island. This is of course where the scene all Twilight fans have been waiting for takes place, when Bella and Edward finally get to consummate their marriage, albeit to a 12A suitable standard. There’s broken beds, feathers, bruises and some pretty life changing consequences.

While the first half of the film is all love, rose petals and topless leading men the second half is where it gets even more intense. Cue brooding stares, angry werewolves, more brooding stares and a chance for Stewart, who’s character is now with child, a chance to shine. And shine she does. While Bella struggles to stay alive as her half vampire, half human baby crushes her from the inside Stewart looks emaciated (props to whoever was working in the make-up department during those scenes) and genuinely manages to make it look like she is a few minutes away from her dying breath pretty much at all times. Meanwhile baby father Edward does what any responsible father would do in this situation, stares angrily at the result of typing ‘demon child’ into Yahoo! while Bella’s sometimes best friend and sometimes other lover Jacob stands guard as his werewolf family prepare to take the crisis into their own hands, or paws as the case may be, vowing to rid Forks of the unknown threat that is the soon-to-be-born child.

As the film reaches it’s climax Bella gives birth in some spectacularly bloody scenes to the ridiculously named Renesmee leaving her life hanging in the balance. The closing scenes play out in a will she/won’t she survive style and leaves an element of suspense for the viewer who if they haven’t read the books will be left unsure as to Bella’s future although the fact there’s still a final film to be released next year might be enough to work it out.

Breaking Dawn Part 1 is everything a Twilight fan will want and it does a pretty good job of sticking as closely to the original book as possible. Admittedly there are some cringe worthy moments, some questionable CGI and times where the script becomes just a little bit laughable but it still has all the ingredients that have made the other three films such a huge success. It also manages to finally make the story feel a bit more grown up, pulling it out of the teen bracket and into something slightly more mature. In this writer’s opinion November 2012 can’t come around soon enough.

Breaking Dawn Part 1 is released on Friday 18th November.
