I could well be wrong as I’m not always down with the kids on the latest news from the novel side of Harry Potter but I was under the impression that J.K. Rowling had said she wasn’t going to write anymore. I guess now with the final movie(s) looming, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 & Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, it might only be too tempting for the extremely gifted writer to bring out an eighth book.

The penultimate part of the Potter franchise hits UK cinemas 19th November and the marketing for the movies is only going to increase. In that vein, Rowling appeared on Oprah Winfrey earlier today and has surprised us all by stating that ‘she’s not ruling out another book’.

Rowling: “I could definitely write an eighth, ninth, tenth, easily”

Winfrey: “Will you?”

“Rowling: I’m gonna say I won’t. I don’t think I will. I loved writing those books. I feel I am done, but you never know!”

Even while she’s saying the words, you can see the look in her eyes like she’s actually thinking there and then, shall I do it – and personally, I think she will!

This will cause the Potter community go ballistic as I’m sure there’s nothing they’d like more than to see another part. That said, I could be wrong! Remember a couple of weeks ago I put up that post with the numerous tweets from all those who were in the audience at the Oprah Twilight Special? Oprah was able to screen an unfinished version of the movie to her audience and according  to the tweets, they all loved it!

Now, either they were Twihards or the movie is actually awesome! I’m banking on the former being the case but I guess for now, we’ll have to give them the benefit of the doubt!

Now that the show has aired we can bring you some interviews with the three main stars, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson. I love the fact that Oprah gets her own Twilight logo!

In this funny modern interactive world that we now all live in, it comes as no surprise that the most powerful woman in the TV world has managed to get to screen an unfinished version of Twilight: Eclipse her audience. Normally, we wouldn’t know about it unless one of them spoke in a newspaper or to a website like us…. but now we have Twitter!!

Twilight: Eclipse is the third movie and reunites Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner in the vampire / werewolf movie based on the books by Stephanie Meyer.

It seems that we’ve been bringing you new posters for nearly a year for this movie now…. that’s because we have an here’s a couple more! With all these new animated movies coming out, it seems nice to have a movie that will take us back to the good old days of Disney and they’ve done it in the form of The Princess and the Frog.

The movie features voices of Anika Noni Rose, Terrence Howard, John Goodman, Keith David, Jim Cummings, Oprah Winfrey and Jenifer Lewis and is directed by Ron Clements and John Musker. If you’ve not seen the trailer, you can check it out here. It’s set for release 12th February which feels like a long time to wait but no doubt it’ll come around fast.

Here’s yet another poster from Disney’s latest 2D movie, The Princess and the Frog. This will be Disney’s first 2d movie for years!

It’s released in the UK 12th February 2010 so you can ignore the date on it! It’s directed by Ron Clements and John Musker and features the voices of Anika Noni Rose, Keith David, Jenifer Lewis, Ritchie Montgomery, Bruno Campos, Terrence Howard, Oprah Winfrey and John Goodman. Much like Sony have done with 2012, Disney have released the first five minutes from their new 2D animation, The Princess and the Frog. I’ve embedded the clip below along with a 30 second clip showing how some of the animation was achieved. The video clip also features some animation which is as yet incomplete.
