Reuniting with Pretty Woman Julia Roberts, Marshall gathers a dozen or so strands of love of all kinds and attempts to weave them into a coherent web leaving us with the lasting impression that Love Will Conquer All™.

Andy reviewed the film for HeyUGuys, and you can read her review here, and I’m in agreement with what she says, only I’d go further and compare the experience to being rocketed through Madame Tussuads being force fed sugar coated sugar cubes.

The Blu-ray does look great and has a ton (seriously – a ton) of special features including numerous deleted scenes and out-takes which begs the question that while the cast clearly had a lot of fun, there was obviously too much going on and a cull of the storylines and episodes would have served this movie well. In fact, there’s about five or six standard Hollywood romances which could have been made from this one.

The one crucial element the film lacks is charm, well there’s also wit. It doesn’t have much of that either. What it has is a lot of Hollywood faces and pauses for the audience to laugh, which are very noticeable, and this is by no means the worst rom-com on offer this year, but it is the biggest waste of talent.

Valentine’s Day is out on Blu-ray and DVD on the 12th of July in the UK.

Twilight: Eclipse is based on the novel of the same name written by Stephanie Meyer and stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and is directed by David Slade.

In the the featurette, we get to see Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth his love interest, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) interviewed on the set of the movie. Thor is directed by Kenneth Branagh and also stars Anthony Hopkins, Kat Dennings, Rene Russo, Stellan Skarsgard, Tom Hiddleston, Jaimie Alexander, Ray Stevenson, Josh Dallas, Tadanobu Asano, Idris Elba, Clark Gregg and Colm Feore and is scheduled for release in the UK 5th May 2011.

Bree Tanner was a vampire created by Victoria, with the purpose of fighting to kill the Cullen family with her army of newborn vampires. Despite her ignorance of the vampire laws, her act of surrendering, and showing adequate control of herself, she was cruelly executed by members of the Volturi by Jane’s order.

If you’re tuned into the National Movie Awards being hosted here in the UK, you’ll have just seen their world exclusive look at Toy Story 3, and moments later Disney have sent this new clip into the wild.

This is one of many clips and trailers that Pixar have put out from this, the highly anticipated third film in the Toy Story series, and each new look just makes our hearts and eyes melt.

The movie features voices from Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Don Rickles, Wallace Shawn, John Ratzenberger, Estelle Harris, John Morris, Laurie Metcalf, R. Lee Ermey, Jodi Benson, Ned Beatty, Michael Keaton, Timothy Dalton, Jeff Garlin, Bonnie Hunt, Whoopi Goldberg, Kristen Schaal and Blake Clark.

Toy Story 3 is released in the US June 18th which is over a month before we get it in the UK on July 21st. However, Disney are expecting most the world (except most of North American) to be watching the World Cup during the month of June so it makes sense that they wouldn’t be releasing it here until after it’s done and dusted and England have either won it in true glory or have failed miserably as per usual!

Toy Story 3 is directed by Lee Unkrich. Keep your eyes peeled on HeyUGuys in the coming weeks as we’ll have loads of exclusive content coming up from my visit to Pixar a couple of months ago.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is based around the computer game created by Jordan Mechner, also star Sir Ben Kingsley, Alfred Molina, Reece Ritchie, is directed bt Mike Newell and is released in the UK 21st May.

Predators is released 13th August in the UK.

Synopsis: PREDATORS, a bold new chapter in the Predator universe, shot under the creative auspices of Robert Rodriguez, stars Adrien Brody as Royce, a mercenary who reluctantly leads a group of elite warriors who come to realise they’ve been brought together on an alien planet… as prey. With the notable exception of a disgraced physician, they are all cold-blooded killers – mercenaries, Yakuza, convicts, death squad members – human “predators” that are now being systemically hunted and eliminated by a new breed of alien predators.

Gervais and Merchant both star in the film (although not for too long) but both have their directing hats on for it. Cemetery Junction also stars Ralph Fiennes (The Reader, Schindler’s List), Emily Watson (Synecdoche, New York, Breaking the Waves) and MATTHEW GOODE (Watchmen, Brideshead Revisited) feature alongside stars-of-the-future Christian Cooke, Felicity Jones, Tom Hughes and Jack Doolan.

Synopsis: In 1970s England, three blue-collar friends spend their days joking, drinking, fighting and chasing girls.

Freddie (Christian Cooke) wants to leave their working-class world but cool, charismatic Bruce (Tom Hughes) and lovable loser Snork (Jack Doolan) are happy with life the way it is.

When Freddie gets a new job as a door-to-door salesman and bumps into his old school sweetheart Julie (Felicity Jones), the gang are forced to make choices that will change their lives forever.

In this new featurette embedded below, we get to see an interview with John Rosengrant (who worked on Iron Man) talking about how the suits were constructed.

Disney have released a new trailer today and we get a closer look at the action packed set pieces and there’s a few scenes with the titular sands being used to great effect.

Jake Gyllenhaal jumps around while cities crumble around his feet and there’s plenty of video game style action involved, perhaps the will be the first video game adaptation to break through the commercial and critic barrier.

Embedded below is another of those behind the scenes affairs, and there’s a few talking heads in amongst the usual footage, but there’s some nice snippets of stunt work spliced in there, and it’s definitely worth having a look.

Clash of the Titans is the next big thing on the Hollywood radar once Alice has taken her tumble through Wonderland, and Louis Leterrier’s remake is getting a lot of attention in anticipation of its April release.

I may miss the Harryhausen of the original, but this having Sam Worthington tool up with Ralph Fiennes, Liam Neeson and Gemma Arterton in a sea of CG may be the perfect way to update this story.

This new trailer is a formulaic affair but it sets up the main players and hints at the film’s explosive set pieces, and we get to see Brendan Gleeson which is always a good thing. Universal must be pleased to get Greengrass and Bourne back together but this film will probably look to distance itself from the Bourne identity in order that it is effective on its own terms.

Synopsis: Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller is a rogue U.S. Army officer who must hunt through covert and faulty intelligence hidden on foreign soil before war escalates in an unstable region.

Sound like fun? The film is out in the UK on the 12th of March and the new trailer can be seen by clicking here.

This new featurette  goes behind the scenes and has Messrs Bruckheimer and Newell appear alongside the stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Alfred Molina and Gemma Arterton talking of the scale of production and the trials of filming on location in Morocco.

There’s a lot of footage, some of which has been seen before, but it’s worth taking a look to see the work that goes into a production on this scale.

Kick-Ass tells the story of a normal guy who decides that the world needs changing, dons a costume and does his best to make the world a better place. The movie stars Aaron Johnson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Chloe Moretz, Mark Strong, Nicolas Cage and it’s released March 26th.

The cast for this film is as impressive as any Scorsese has assembled and includes Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley, Michelle Williams, Patricia Clarkson and Max von Sydow.

The featurette opens the doors of Shutter Island a little wider and it’s a must see if you’re looking forward to this film.

We loved the original, the Harryhausen swansong and the wealth of classical acting talent on offer combined with a charm and great production design to bring the Gods to life.

Now, riding the CG and 3D wave we’ve got a look at the updated version in the trailers and images, and it looks bigger, fiercer and far more action packed than the Desmond Davies film.

There’s a new featurette doing the rounds today, giving the cast and crew the chance to give us their take on the film, and the characters they play. The talking heads are immersed in a lot of footage, and it does its job of teasing us just the right amount.

No, he hasn’t managed to get all this footage from some dodgy website, he has in fact scoured the interview for all featurettes already put out by Twentieth Century Fox and compiled them into one, long 45 minutes featurette. It contains loads of things I’ve not seen or heard before including a brilliant look into all the animals and plant life on Pandora with a voice-over by Sigourney Weaver. It could well be that you’ve seen all these before but watching them all compiled together is just brilliant.
