Harry Potter is all finished filming and while Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II are in post production, news has come from 20th Century Fox that the young baddie from the Potter, series Tom Felton has signed up to play Brian Cox’ son in the new Planet of the Apes movie called Rise of the Apes.

Rise of the Apes has already signed James Franco, John Lithgow, Andy Sirkis and Freida Pinto with Rupert Wyatt-directed own to direct.

The movie is set for a summer 2011 release.

The first on-set images have appeared from Burke and Hare which is directed by John Landis and stars Simon Pegg, Andy Serkis, Isla Fisher, Tim Curry, Tim Wilkinson and John Cleese.

The new images have appeared on The Daily Mail, The Edinburgh News and The Playlist websites and show Pegg and Serkis dressed in wonderful Georgian costumes. Burke and Hare is based on the real men who murdered 17 people between 1827 and 1828. After the murderers, they would sell the bodies to Dr. Robert Knox who would then dissect them in his anatomy class.

According to IMDb, the movie will be out some time in 2010 but I think it’s probably more likely to be 2011.
