Steve McQueen and Michael Fassbender to Reunite for Shame

Steve McQueen and Michael Fassbender, who worked on the 2008 film Hunger about the 1981 Irish hunger strike, are set to reunite for new movie, Shame.

Shame will be directed by McQueen, with Fassbender in the lead role. The screenplay was penned by McQueen and Abi Morgan (Brick Lane).

Variety are reporting that Fassbender will play Brandon, a 30-something man living in New York, who is unable to manage his sex life.

Production is scheduled to begin in January 2011.
