It seems as if it were only yesterday we were in a state of rampant hullabaloo over the impending return of Ridley Scott to the world which made him famous. From the beginning the world of Prometheus was shrouded in secrecy, yet a few details were established early on.

It would be set in the same universe as the Alien films though not a direct prequel, there would be an artificial person and the mystery surrounding the space jockey from Scott’s 1979 sci-fi film would be alluded to, if not explained outright.

Well, the film answered some questions but posed a lot more, and the Blu-ray release, out next week, promises to answer those questions as well as give us more to chew on.
