Jennifer-AnistonJennifer Aniston has been heating up the sales over in Berlin this past week at the European Film Market. She recently officially signed on for Convention alongside Mark Duplass and Ben Kingsley. And now the ever-brilliant actress has signed on for Peter Bogdanovich’s next feature, She’s Funny That Way.

Previously titled Squirrels to the Nuts (which I think is an amazing title, and am pretty gutted that it’s since been changed), the project already has Owen Wilson and Brie Larson attached for the leading roles.

“The film centres on a married Broadway director (Wilson) who falls for a prostitute-turned-actress and works to help her advance her career.”

Along with Wilson, Larson, and now Aniston, the film is set to star Jason Schwartzman, Eugene Levy, Cybill Sherpherd, and Kathryn Hahn

Aniston is joining the project as Larson’s therapist, with her own mother in rehab for alcoholism. And she’ll be dating Schwartzman’s playwright character, who in turn falls for Larson.

The role Aniston is playing was originally to be taken by Olivia Wilde, but it’s likely that shooting schedules have meant that she’s had to exit the project, with Aniston coming on board in her place.

Bogdanovich will be directing from a script he wrote with Louise Stratten.

And to make things all the sweeter, the great Wes Anderson and Noah Baumbach are serving as producers.

She’s Funny That Way is set to shoot in New York City this June. This is definitely one to look forward to, and hopefully it will be reaching the big screen next year. More as we get it.
