Sony Pictures have released seven, well, “amazing” new stills from The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Featured are Andrew Garfield (Peter Parker/Spider-Man), Emma Stone (Gwen Stacy), Jamie Foxx (Max Dillon/Electro), Dane DeHaan (Harry Osborn/The Green Goblin) and Paul Giamatti (Aleksei Sytsevich/The Rhino).
What do they tell us about the movie? Not an awful lot, although we do get to see Spidey foiling Sytsevich’s plans (to steal what appears to be some sort of canister), perhaps explaining why he later becomes The Rhino! Most interesting is the shot featuring Spider-Man and Harry Osborn. Does the latter know it’s his best friend behind the mask? He’s clearly up to no good as he looks on at a chained up Electro, so where exactly his allegiances lie remains to be seen.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set to be released in the UK on April 18th and in the UK on May 2nd. Many thanks to Total Film for the photos below.
