Seth Gordon to Direct Identity Theft

Seth Gordon (Four Christmases) has signed on to direct Universal Pictures’ Identity Theft.

Identity Theft centers on a man whose identity is stolen by a woman. Jason Bateman (The Switch) and Melissa McCarthy (Bridesmaids) are attached to star as the central duo.

The script was written by Steve Conrad, with Craig Mazen responsible for re-writes.

Identity Theft will start shooting later this year.

Gordon’s latest directorial effort, the R-rated comedy Horrible Bosses, impressed critics and audiences alike, grossing an estimated $210M at the worldwide box office.
