It’s been ten long years since the release of The Incredibles, but it was revealed earlier this month that Disney and Pixar are finally moving ahead with a sequel to the fan favourite animated feature.
Since then, those same fans have of course been endlessly speculating over the plot and characters of the movie, but as it’s still seemingly very much in the early stages of development (especially with director Brad Bird busy working on Tomorrowland), we likely have a while to wait until we hear more.
However, in a recent interview with Digital Spy, Captain America: The Winter Soldier’s Samuel L. Jackson revealed that he’s likely to return for the sequel, telling the site:
“Every time I run into Brad (Bird) he always tells me Frozone is going to be part of whatever’s going on, so I have to believe that. I guess they would be the Incredibles without Frozone, but I think Frozone would be a wonderful, wonderful addition to what’s already there. I’m just looking forward to seeing what Jack-Jack turned into.”
