Dreamworks Animation’s first project since their partnership with Fox is the animated caveman comedy THE CROODS, which hits UK cinemas on March 22nd. Ahead of the release, HeyUGuys was invited to speak with some of the talent involved with the film including Ryan Reynolds and Emma Stone.
Reynolds plays Guy, a wise-cracking caveman with a slightly superior intellect than that of his peers. He’s an inventor who helps the titular family traverse the unknown wilderness when the world around them begins to crumble. Emma Stone plays Eep, the eldest child of the Croods who is desperate to break away and explore the environment outside her cave.
Both Reynolds and Stone discuss their characters and the process behind making such an ambitious animated feature. They also discuss Nicolas Cage, and touch a little on the long-gestating DEADPOOL film, as well as the upcoming THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2.
