Rosamund Pike (Made in Dagenham) has been added to the cast of Working Title’s The World’s End.
The actress, who rose to stardom starring alongside Carey Mulligan in the critically acclaimed An Education, will star opposite Simon Pegg and Nick Frost in an as-yet undisclosed role.
The World’s End, the culmination of the Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy (a series that previously brought us Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz), will centre on a group of friends who attempt to repeat an intrepid pub crawl they did years ago.
Edgar Wright will direct from a screenplay he co-wrote with Pegg. Filming is due to start in the UK next month.
