Richard Ayoade may just be the best reason to see The Watch according to this new NSFW Clip

Here’s a neat new look at Akiva Schaffer’s Stepford ‘Burbs movie and while the trio of Ben Stiller, Jonah Hill and Vince Vaughn may sell it to the States it’s the presence of Submarine director and IT Crowder Richard Ayoade which piques my interest.

This is a very different suburban alien invasion to Joe Cornish’s Attack the Block and the trailers we’ve seen offer up a fun look at the everyman against the world feel Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and Jared Stern have cooked up. Until now I’ve not been too sure about the chemistry of the central quartet but this new clip from IGN had me by the final line.

The film is out next month in the States and a month later over here so until then, and with the appropriate measures taken for this NSFW clip (it’s got some swears, but nothing unseemly), enjoy The Watch.
