Best of the DecadeSince the year 2000 we’ve seen amazing leaps in technology from Gladiator recreating the Colosseum in a computer and more recently huge leaps in 3d technology. But with all these technological advancements, has it made a better all-round movie? Here’s where you come in! All we need you to do is tell us which films from the list below have help to shape the last decade of cinema. Fell free to tell us in the comments below the poll if we’ve missed any films off and why they should be added, or why you’ve picked your selection.

You can select up to 5 movies from the list below. We’ll then compile the list and report back in the new year.

    On a personal level, i have to throw in a second for the excellent Children of Men. And at the risk of annoying the administrator, i think maybe No Country For Old Men should be on there. Five sounds like a hard number, but i'm not sure there are many more than five that i would consider.

    Well, you have “Into the Wild” but not the much better “Over the Hedge”…you totally ignored “Watchmen”…none of the decent new Westerns like “3_10 to Yuma” or “Appaloosa”…

    Or how about “King Arthur” or “Kingdom of Heaven”…or good Horror movies like “The Descent” or “Drag me to Hell” — just to name a few…?!

    But I know it's tough to compile such a list unless you want to just include every single movie of the last ten years… ;)

    There's a hell of a lot of good films up there and quite a few good ones missing. But five for the decade? I find it hard enough choosing five of my alltime favs! :D
