The-Good-Dinosaur-Pixar-Concept-ArtD23 is in full swing now across the Atlantic, and news has started to come in from the studio’s fan convention. First up is some stellar voice cast announcements from Pixar’s next three movies, The Good Dinosaur, Inside Out, and Finding Dory.

Following the box office success of Monsters University this summer, Pixar will be back on the big screen next May with The Good Dinosaur, from Bob Peterson, with Peter Sohn co-directing.

Lucas Neff (Raising Hope) will be lending his voice as the lead, Arlo; John Lithgow and Frances McDormand will star as his parents; Bill Hader as the oldest brother, Forrest; and Neil Patrick Harris and Judy Greer as middle-siblings, Cliff and Ivy.

Conventiongoers were treated to the first footage from next year’s animated blockbuster. And before that surfaces online, the new piece of concept art below will have to suffice.

Then comes Pete Docter’s anticipated Inside Out, previously referred to as ‘Pixar’s Untitled Project That Takes You Inside the Mind’. Amy Poehler will voice the lead character/emotion, Joy; Bill Hader collaborates with the studio once more to be Fear; Lewis Black will play Anger; Mandy Kaling will be Disgust; and Phyliss Smith will voice Sadness.

And finally, John Lasseter is said to have revealed that Finding Dory, the long-awaited Finding Nemo sequel due at the end of 2015, will expand from its original cast, and will also feature Eugene Levy and Diane Keaton as Dory’s parents, with Ty Burrell voicing a beluga by the name of Bailey.

The Good Dinosaur is due to be released on May 30th, 2014. Inside Out will follow just over a year later on June 19th, 2015, and Finding Dory will follow it a few months later on November 25th, 2015.

The big hope for the weekend is of course to hear something concrete on Star Wars Episode VII, so stay tuned, and we’ll have more if and when it arrives.
