Paranoia-PosterHitting the big screen in the States in just over two months, Robert Luketic’s Paranoia boasts a very impressive leading cast in Liam Hemsworth, Harrison Ford, and Gary Oldman.

We saw a promising first trailer for the dramatic thriller arrive last week, giving us our first good look at the summer release. And now Relativity have released the first poster, and whilst the artwork is a little less than inspiring, I’m still looking forward to seeing the film itself.

In this high-stakes thriller, Adam Cassidy (Liam Hemsworth) is an ambitious junior technologist trying to climb the ranks of telecom giant Wyatt Corporation. But after one costly mistake, Adam is blackmailed by ruthless CEO Nicholas Wyatt (Gary Oldman) to turn corporate spy by going to work for the firm’s top competitor, which is run by Wyatt’s old mentor, Jock Goddard (Harrison Ford). Adam soon finds himself delivered into prepackaged success, living his fantasy life of old-world boardrooms, private clubs, exotic cars, and all the spoils of Manhattan bachelorhood. However, behind the scenes, he is merely a pawn in Wyatt’s power play, and must search for a way out from under his boss, who will stop at nothing, even murder, to gain a multi-billion dollar advantage.

Amber Heard stars alongside the leading trio as the female lead. And they’re joined by Josh Holloway, Lucas Till, Richard Dreyfuss, and Embeth Davidtz.

Luketic is directing from a script by Jason Dean Hall (Spread) and Barry Levy (Vantage Point), who adapt the original novel by Joseph Finder.

Paranoia will be hitting US cinemas on August 16th, and we’re still in the dark as to a UK release date. Here’s to hoping it will be arriving on our shores a little later this year.
