The-OscarsTonight is the night we’ve all been waiting for. It’s the Oscars. Almost the entirety of Hollywood will be gathering out at the Dolby Theatre. But before the ceremony itself gets underway tonight, we’ve got the Oscars Red Carpet Show to look forward to.

The nominees will be taking to the red carpet, alongside pretty much all of the industry.

Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln is the most-nominated film of the year, with twelve nods. Daniel Day-Lewis is the front-runner for the Best Actor category. Tommy Lee Jones is also up for Best Supporting Actor and Sally Field for Best Supporting Actress, with Spielberg himself up for Best Director.

Ben Affleck’s Argo is our front-runner for Best Picture, but sadly Affleck himself wasn’t recognised in the Best Director or Best Actor categories. Affleck would nonetheless take the credit alongside George Clooney and Grant Heslov as producers, should Argo walk away with the night’s most-coveted award. (Which I really hope it does.)

David O. Russell’s Silver Linings Playbook has been another of the most talked-about films of the year, with Jennifer Lawrence’s performance especially recognised in the Best Actress category.

And before our beloved host, Seth MacFarlane, takes the stage, the stars will walk the Oscars red carpet, talking about their films, their peers, and of course, what they’re wearing.

This year’s Oscars should kick-off at 7pm ET (12am GMT), beginning with the red carpet, and you can watch the live stream in full below. The stream will go live as the red carpet show begins, so be sure to be here on this page for the beginning of the show. It’s going to be a great night. I can’t wait to see how the results pan out.

And before the stream goes live, you can watch a great little interview with MacFarlane getting ready to host tonight’s events. I have a feeling he’s going to be the best host we’ve seen in years.
