Olga-Kurylenko-To-the-Wonder-JunketIt seems that The Tree of Life director Terrence Malick is one of the most desirable filmmakers to work with for any actor, as a host of the biggest stars in world cinema line up for a role in whatever the distinguished director is working on. In his latest feature To The Wonder we see Ben Affleck and Olga Kurylenko take on the two leads, and we had the fortunate opportunity of sitting down to discuss the project with the latter.

Kurylenko – known predominantly for her role in Quantum of Solace – plays Marina, who is engulfed in a turbulent relationship with Neil (Affleck) in Malick’s study of love and all of its nuances. The Ukrainian born actress discusses what Malick is like to work with, not only the unique, positive aspects, but she so shares her frustration at seeing so many of scenes miss out on the final edit. She also tells us about her upcoming feature Oblivion, where she stars alongside Tom Cruise and Morgan Freeman.

To the Wonder is released in UK cinemas today. Here’s our review.
