Warner Bros. Pictures have launched the official trailer and poster for Beautiful Creatures via Apple.
Written and directed for the screen by Richard LaGravenese, Beautiful Creatures is an upcoming adaptation of Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl’s supernatural fantasy romance novel of the same name.
The film, which was first announced way back at the tail end of 2009, stars Alden Ehrenreich, Alice Englert, Emma Thompson, Viola Davis, Emmy Rossum, Jeremy Irons, Kyle Gallner, Thomas Mann and Zoey Deutch.
“A supernatural love story set in the South, “Beautiful Creatures” tells the tale of two star-crossed lovers: Ethan (Ehrenreich), a young man longing to escape his small town, and Lena (Englert), a mysterious new girl. Together, they uncover dark secrets about their respective families, their history and their town.”
Beautiful Creatures is scheduled for release in the U.K. on February 13, 2013.
