After working together on 2011’s very successful Unknown, director Jaume Collet-Serra and Liam Neeson have reteamed to bring us yet another anticipated action blockbuster, Non-Stop.
Due to hit cinemas early next year, the film sees Neeson star as an air marshal whose flight is attacked 40,000 feet in the air. And whilst things have been quiet on the project up until now, with the first and only image surfacing way back in January, Universal has now launched the first trailer and poster over on Apple.
Global action star Liam Neeson stars in NON-STOP, a suspense thriller played out at 40,000 feet in the air. During a transatlantic flight from New York City to London, U.S. Air Marshal Bill Marks (Neeson) receives a series of cryptic text messages demanding that he instruct the government to transfer $150 million into an off-shore account. Until he secures the money, a passenger on his flight will be killed every 20 minutes. NON-STOP, which reunites Neeson with UNKNOWN director Jaume Collet-Serra and producer Joel Silver, co-stars Golden Globe Award winner Julianne Moore.
Neeson is joined by a great cast, led by Julianne Moore, Anson Mount, Scoot McNairy, Michelle Dockery, Lupita Nyong’o, Nate Parker, and Corey Stoll.
Collet-Serra is directing from a script penned by John W. Richardson and Chris Roach, both of whom make their feature debuts as writers, with Joel Silver producing.
Neeson and Collet-Serra are already reuniting yet again on actioner Run All Night, which will see Neeson starring alongside the likes of Ed Harris, Joel Kinnaman, Common, and Vincent D’Onofrio, so their collaborations are clearly something to keep looking forward to.
Non-Stop will be hitting cinemas on February 28th, 2014 in the UK and US. Here are the first trailer and poster to whet the appetite.
