Noah-Character-Poster-Russell-Crowe-sliceDarren Aronofsky’s Noah is just weeks away from hitting the big screen, and with an IMAX release going alongside its arrival in regular theatres, you can be sure that it will live up to the scope of the biblical epic.

Paramount launched the first trailers late last year, following them up more recently with a Super Bowl TV spot and a new poster, the first to feature all of the leading cast, rather than just leading man Russell Crowe.

Now the studio have released two new international character posters for Crowe and leading lady Jennifer Connelly, reuniting here after working together on Ron Howard’s brilliant A Beautiful Mind.

Russell Crowe stars as Noah, a man chosen by God for a great task before an apocalyptic flood destroys the world.

Crowe and Connelly are joined by a great ensemble cast, headed up by Ray Winstone, Emma Watson, Anthony Hopkins, Logan Lerman, Douglas Booth, Kevin Durand, Marton Csokas, Nick Nolte, and Dakota Goyo.

Aronofsky directs from a script he co-wrote with past collaborator Ari Handel (The Fountain), with John Logan’s follow-up work on the script seemingly going without credit.

Noah will be released in regular and IMAX cinemas on March 28th in the US, arriving a week later in the UK on 4th April.
