Gareth Evans has created something of a monster with his fast and furious actioner The Raid and while we’re still a couple of months away from a cinema release the good word is beginning to spread.
We’ve got a couple of videos on offer this afternoon, the first is a fascinating behind the scenes look at the film, focusing on the much-praised martial artistry on show with choreographer Iko Uwais discussing the fighting styles used.
The second is the new UK trailer which does a good job of teasing us with fragments of the film as well as setting the scene perfectly. I have a feeling that most people are sold, or not, on this film but the festival momentum and solid word of mouth is certainly bringing The Raid to the fore, and that can only be a good thing.
