A new full-length trailer for Buried has been posted online by Lionsgate. Yahoo! Movies premiered late last night, just in time for the first day of Comic-Con. The trailer is perfect, creating a true sense of claustrophobia within, and out-with, the film environment.

Buried was directed by Rodrigo Cortés, from a script by Chris Sparling and stars Ryan Reynolds (The Proposal), Stephen Tobolowsky (Memento), Samantha Mathis (The Punisher) and Robert Paterson (Sahara). Lionsgate will release Buried in the US on September 24, 2010. A UK date has yet to be confirmed.

The official synopsis for Buried is as follows:

Paul (Reynolds) is a U.S. contractor working in Iraq. After an attack by a group of Iraqis he wakes to find he is buried alive inside a coffin. With only a lighter and a cell phone it’s a race against time to escape this claustrophobic death trap.

For fans of Buried heading to Comic-Con, ComingSoon have said that, if you head along to booth #3729, you can be trapped in a coffin-like space, with the video then being uploaded onto the film’s website, www.experienceburied.com
