It’s another poster for the Brad Bird directed installment of the ongoing Mission: Impossible series and instead of a fiery background to Tom Cruise’s hoodie moment there’s a good look at the cast who join Cruise’s Ethan Hunt for another outing for the IMF team.
Yahoo had this poster first and it lines Simon Pegg up alongside Jeremy Renner and Paul Paton which perhaps hints at a larger role in the series, but the pull of the series has always been the excellent and eclectic casts dancing around Tom Cruise’s maypole (if you’ll pardon a strange bout of imagery here) and the mix of new and old blood gives each new film the opportunity to surprise.
So here’s the poster. I’m looking forward to it. It’s easily one of Cruise’s most satisfying roles and hiring Brad Bird looks to be a very smart move indeed. Can’t wait.
