New International Posters for Parker with Jason Statham & Jennifer Lopez

StumbleUponReddit

Parker-International-Poster Jason Statham returns to the big screen next month in Parker, an action/crime thriller that sees Jennifer Lopez starring opposite in the female lead.

Statham has of course made a brilliant career for himself in the past few years, perfecting the Statham persona of the awesome and indifferent action star capable of starring on either side of the law.

This time around, he’ll be on the wrong side but with a right set of morals, and after catching the first trailer and poster back in October, two new international posters have now surfaced online.

“Parker (Jason Statham) is a professional thief who lives by a personal code of ethics: Don’t steal from people who can’t afford it and don’t hurt people who don’t deserve it. But on his latest heist, his crew double crosses him, steals his stash, and leaves him for dead. Determined to make sure they regret it, Parker tracks them to Palm Beach, playground of the rich and famous, where the crew is planning their biggest heist ever. Donning the disguise of a rich Texan, Parker takes on an unlikely partner, Leslie (Jennifer Lopez), a savvy insider, who’s short on cash, but big on looks, smarts and ambition. Together, they devise a plan to hijack the score, take everyone down and get away clean.”

Joining Statham and Lopez in the supporting cast are Nick Nolte, Michael Chiklis, Sala Baker, and Clifton Collins, Jr.

Taylor Hackford, the Oscar-winning director behind Ray and The Devil’s Advocate, is behind the camera, directing from a script by John J. McLaughlin (Black Swan, Hitchcock), based on the best-selling series of novels by Donald E. Westlake.

Parker will get its release in the UK and US on 25th January, 2013, and looks set to be an excellent action choice early in the New Year. For now, here are the new international posters, which you can click through to enlarge.
