Nicholas-Hoult-and-Teresa-Palmer-in-Warm-BodiesJonathan Levine’s Warm Bodies is all but guaranteed to be the best zombie movie since Zombieland, and has been showing a lot of promise over the past couple of months, with the first trailer landing back in November.

We recently caught the opening four minutes earlier in the week, and with its February release date now a matter of weeks away, three new images have made their way online, giving us a new look at the young leading stars, Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: First Class) and Teresa Palmer (Wish You Were Here).

“When a highly unusual zombie rescues a girl from imminent death at the hands of his cohorts, their unlikely romance sets in motion a chain of events that will transform him, his fellow dead and maybe even the whole lifeless world.”

The leading duo are joined by an excellent supporting cast, headed up by the brilliant Analeigh Tipton (Crazy, Stupid, Love.), Dave Franco (21 Jump Street), Rob Corddry (Children’s Hospital), and John Malkovich (Being John Malkovich).

Levine (50/50) is directing from his own script, having adapted the original novel by Isaac Marion. And with Levine’s past credits including 50/50 and The Wackness, two of the best independent movies in recent memory, I can’t wait to see what he brings us next.

Warm Bodies will be hitting US cinemas on 1st February, 2013, with its UK release date set for a week later on 8th February. This is going to be a lot of fun. Definitely a must-see film of 2013. For now, here are the new images, which you can click through to enlarge.
