The first two full-length trailers for the latest Bond film, Skyfall, landed last week and set the anticipation even higher, giving us a brilliant look at Daniel Craig’s return as James Bond in the twenty-third film in the franchise.

A new book from acclaimed photojournalist Greg Williams, who’s been working on Bond sets for a decade, is due out later this year, and the first preview of the book has made its way online, giving us a look at two new images from the film, as well as a handful of behind-the-scenes photos.

“In SKYFALL, Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.”

Starring alongside Craig will be a fantastic cast, headed up by Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes, Bérénice Marlohe, Naomie Harris, Albert Finney, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCrory, Ola Rapace, and Dame Judi Dench.

Sam Mendes (American Beauty) makes his Bond debut behind the camera, directing from a script by Bond frequents Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, and the ever-brilliant John Logan (Gladiator, Coriolanus).

Williams’ book, Bond on Set: Filming Skyfall, is available for pre-order online now, and is expected to be released at the start of October.

Skyfall will be released in regular and IMAX theatres on 26th October here in the UK, ahead of a 9th November release in the US. All signs suggest it’s going to be one of the best films of the year, and we can’t wait for it to hit. As usual with these new images, you can click to enlarge.
