I’ve never been too sure of the Ice Age series. They look beautiful and some of the characters are well drawn with some fantastic talent behind the virtual camera with regards, in particular, to the comedy timing of some of the slapstick but it’s not a series I’ll think of returning to.
Going against my inert anticipation there’s a new trailer for the fourth Ice Age film out today, this one is subtitled Continental Drift and sees ‘our’ favourites returning.
The cast list is a little intimidating – ready? Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary, Queen Latifah, Seann William Scott, Josh Peck, Chris Wedge and of course Jennifer Lopez. Peter Dinklage, Aziz Ansari, Nick Frost, and Alan Tudyk are the four voices I’m looking forward to most when the film arrives on these shores on the 6th of July telling this tale…
Manny, Diego, and Sid embark upon another adventure after their continent is set adrift. Using an iceberg as a ship, they encounter sea creatures and battle pirates as they explore a new world.
