So-Undercover-Quad-PosterDue out in the UK this Friday, So Undercover stars the ever-popular Miley Cyrus in the lead, continuing to diversify her credits here with an action-comedy co-starring the brilliant Jeremy Piven (Entourage).

We saw the first trailer for the film back in October, followed a few weeks ago by the first TV spot, and now Warner Bros. have released a new clip, with its release very much on the horizon.

“When the FBI hires her to go undercover at a college sorority, Molly Morris (Miley Cyrus) must transform herself from a tough, streetwise private investigator to a refined, sophisticated university girl to help protect the daughter of a one-time Mobster. With several suspects on her list, Molly unexpectedly discovers that not everyone is who they appear to be, including herself.”

Starring alongside Cyrus and Piven is a promising cast, headed up by Autumn Reeser (The O.C.), Joshua Bowman (Revenge), Alexis Knapp (Pitch Perfect), Matthew Settle (Gossip Girl), Megan Park (The F Word), Mike O’Malley (Glee), and Kelly Osbourne.

Tom Vaughan (Starter for 10, What Happens in Vegas) is behind the camera, directing from a script by producer/first-time writer Steven Pearl (The Switch) and Allan Loeb (21, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps).

Whilst I may not be the target audience for this particular action-comedy, Piven’s involvement alone is enough to make me want to see it. Because Jeremy Piven is nothing short of amazing. No two ways about it.

So Undercover will be released in the UK this Friday, 7th December. It’s then set for a straight-to-DVD release in the States, due out on 5th February next year. For now, here’s the new clip to give you a new look at Cyrus in the lead.
