While Mickey Rourke may have found himself back on solid, if familiar, ground with roles in The Expendables and Iron Man 2, it was his role in Darren Aronofsky’s The Wrestler that reminded us of what a great on-screen presence the man can be.

Now we get a chance to see him in the first clip to emerge from Mitch Glazer’s Passion Play, courtesy of ET (via The Playlist).

A bewinged Megan Fox stars opposite Rourke and director Glazer has seen fit to throw Rhys Ifans, who recently impressed in Greenberg opposite Ben Stiller, Kelly Lynch and Bill Murray into the mix, making for an intriguing cast.

The film is appearing at Toronto and we’re looking forward to hearing some reactions to this one.

Here’s the clip.
