Thanks to LiveforFilms for the headsup on these two new clips that fans of Transformers have collected in Chicago.The as yet untitled Michael Bay directed Transformers 3 is due for a summer release 2011 and stars Shia LaBeouf and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley who replaces Megan Fox.
The first clip shows all of the Autobots that we’re seen in the first two movies followed by a couple of Nascars who appear as new characters in this third installment. Following them is a much larger Optimus Prime as he now has a trailer attached emblazoned with the Autobots logo.
The second clip is taken from (I assume) someone’s home that looks down on the Chicago streets where filming is taking place with a rather excited (and rightly so!) kid in the background announcing how cool what we’re seeing is. I happen to agree with hm!
