Making its debut at Comic-Con this year, and due to be attached to the Blu-ray/DVD release of Iron Man 3, Agent Carter marks the fourth One-Shot set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Hayley Atwell of course reprises her role as the eponymous Agent Carter, alongside Dominic Cooper returning as Howard Stark and Bradley Whitford as Agent Flynn.
With just a few short weeks to go before Iron Man 3 lands its home entertainment release, the studio have debuted the latest clip from the One-Shot.
Picking up where the events of CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER left off, “Agent Carter” tracks British operative Peggy Carter (THE FIRST AVENGER’s Hayley Atwell) as she joins the nascent S.H.I.E.L.D. organization. As she searches for the enigmatic “Zodiac” key, Agent Carter also battles her sexist, bureaucratic boss, Agent Flynn (THE WEST WING’s Bradley Whitford), who thinks women have no place in the secret-agent business.
Co-starring Dominic Cooper (CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER) as Howard Stark, “Agent Carter” is the fourth entry in the fan-favorite “Marvel One-Shot” Short Film Series, which exists within the continuity of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Louis D’Esposito (Item 47) returned to the helm for the fourth in the series, with Eric Pearson once more writing the script.
Agent Carter will be released with Iron Man 3 on Blu-ray/DVD on 9th September in the UK and September 24th in the US, with the blockbuster getting an early digital release on September 3rd in the States.
