Let’s Remix This Business: New TV Spot for ‘Pitch Perfect’

I like the way you work it, no diggity.

This week we have the new TV Spot for Jason Moore’s upcoming comedy musical, Pitch Perfect, and it’s sure to get you singing along.

Adapted from Mickey Rapkin’s non-fiction novel of the same name, the idea came from the senior editor at GQ magazine when he followed a group of A capella groups in America and wrote about the singing, groupies, partying and rivalries that were all part of the experience.

The adaptation, with screenplay by Kay Cannon, follows Beca (Anna Kendrick), a freshman at Barden University, who is cajoled into joining her school’s all-girls a cappella group The Bellas, which includes the popular faces of Brittany Snow and Rebel Wilson. Injecting some much-needed energy into their repertoire, The Bellas take on their male rivals in a campus competition.

The new trailer looks like a lot of fun, and is an interesting handful of roles for those involved. Surprisingly it looks like a Glee worth watching.

Set to be released on 19th October, Pitch Perfect also stars Christopher Mintz-Plasse, John Michael Higgins, Freddie Stroma, Anna Camp, Alexis Knapp, Skylar Astin, Adam DeVine, Freddie Stroma, Ester Dean, and Freddie Stroma.
