We caught a great new clip from The Bourne Legacy straight out of Comic-Con earlier today, alongside the great limited edition poster yesterday, and now we have a new international poster (winging its way from Hong Kong this time around) to go with them.
Jeremy Renner (The Avengers) steps up to the plate for the fourth instalment in the series, alongside Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Oscar Isaac, Albert Finney, Joan Allen, Scott Glenn, and David Strathairn.
“The narrative architect behind the Bourne film series, Tony Gilroy, takes the helm in the next chapter of the hugely popular espionage franchise that has earned almost $1 billion at the global box office: The Bourne Legacy. The writer/director expands the Bourne universe created by Robert Ludlum with an original story that introduces us to a new hero (Jeremy Renner) whose life-or-death stakes have been triggered by the events of the first three films. For The Bourne Legacy, Renner joins fellow series newcomers Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Stacy Keach and Oscar Isaac, while franchise veterans Albert Finney, Joan Allen, David Strathairn and Scott Glenn reprise their roles.”
Tony Gilroy, who’s written/co-written all of the films to date, is the man behind the camera, directing from a script he co-wrote with brother Dan Gilroy (The Fall, Real Steel).
The Bourne Legacy will be hitting US cinemas on 10th August, followed ever so slightly later in the UK on 13th August. All we’ve seen so far has been beyond promising, so I think it’s definitely something to start getting excited about if you weren’t already. As usual with this new poster, you can click to enlarge. Fairly similar to the original poster, but with slightly fewer obscuring bars, leading to more Jeremy Renner!
