The-World's-End-UK-Quad-PosterAs the release of The World’s End nears, we had the great pleasure of sitting down with the stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, to discuss the third and final entry into the Three Colours Cornetto trilogy which hits cinemas on Friday July 19.

Pegg and Frost have been quite the formidable pairing for a rather long time now, following on from the brilliant TV series Spaced, through to Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and Paul. Alongside writer/director Edgar Wright, the trio have been behind some of the finest British comedy in contemporary cinema – and they return triumphantly, in a tale of five old school friends who get together to recreate a failed pub crawl from their youth.

The pair discuss how closely connected to the characters they are themselves, if they could have envisaged ever reaching this stage in their careers – while also telling us about a certain tweet that gave them both rather a lot of joy.
