While Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are the faces of the Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy – the third, and equally as important, member of the brains behind the project is Edgar Wright, the man who has co-written and directed their latest feature The World’s End. While the film readies itself for its July 19 release, we had the great pleasure of sitting down to discuss the title with the talented filmmaker.
Wright, who also directed Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and is behind the forthcoming Ant Man, speaks to us about how the project first came about, what has changed over the past decade, and also lets us know what is the most amount of drinks he has ever managed in one sitting.
