While Anne Hathaway’s recent productions have been somewhat darker and more intense, shining in the likes of Les Misérables and The Dark Knight Rises, we caught up with the Oscar winner about something a little lighter – for his returning role as Jewel, in Carlos Saldanha’s Rio 2.
Hathaway discusses the process of making an animated feature film, and whether it can be a lonely experience. Given her character’s adventurous trip to the Amazon in this sequel, we also ask her where’s the most exotic place she’s ever been, while she also tells us a little bit about her role in the upcoming Christopher Nolan blockbuster, Interstellar.
Rio 2 is released in cinemas on April 4th.
